We have one encore litter of 3 just born. Please inquire if you’re interested. More information will be posted soon! This will be our last litter.

Litter H
Harriet was a singleton kitten who took a little more care to raise as her mother lost interest around 3 weeks. She was hand raised and eventually bonded with our Artemis who helped teach her how to be a cat. When our more recent litters we’re old enough to play with her, she got to have the joy of surrogate siblings. She’s done great and is now ready to find her forever home.
Our last litter from Connie and Aron have all been placed. Please join our waiting list for future litters!

Noir Bob-Mignon + Uma from Ainu Island
Uma gave birth to two beautiful girls in early October, one, all black, short haired and one longhaired black tabby. This is Uma and Noir's second litter with us and will be their last litter after great breeding careers. Both cats have close relatives that have done well in the show ring. Uma has a daughter who reached World Champion status, the highest title, in WCF. Noir's full sister won Best Kurilian Longhair Kitten of the year internationally in TICA. Uma's kittens have proven to be outgoing, social, and playful. If you're looking for a cat that will entertain you, go for walks, and play with a feather toy for hours, this could be the match you are waiting for. If you or your child are interested in a show cat with a future in collecting ribbons, this litter could have a good fit. We have kept kittens from both cats to retain in our breeding program. Noir Bob-mignon + Quadrille Shonboob (AKA Jolene)
This is Jolene's first litter with us and she graced us with 7(!!) beautiful kitties. Jolene flew here from Russia with her breeder last February just before lock down. We didn't know Noir or Jolene carried the dilute for blue and cream, so it was a surprise to get such a mix. Jolene's coat is about the softest thing we've ever touched and we can't wait to see how she passes this trait on to her kittens with Noir. Both are very affectionate cats. We are still watching some kittens as candidates to carry on our lines. Some of the kittens that say "may become adoptable" are on our watch list, others have been chosen as a second choice for a pet home if another is retained in the cattery.
November 4th, 2019 Noir Bob-Mignon + Uma from Ainu Island
Uma gave birth to 4 kittens on November 4th, 2019. This is not Uma’s first litter, but it is her first litter with Noir. Uma’s kittens from previous litters have gone on to reach world champion status. She has had several nominations for best in show herself.
Uma is a cat that wants to be with you always, in fact, I have a sling that I carry her in sometimes. She has short hair, but she carries the gene for semi-longhair, like Noir, so one of their kittens, Bowser, has a longhair coat like Papa. All kittens have non-matting, low shedding coats. They are now a very playful bunch. Like both their parents, they will surprise you with their weight as they are built dense and sturdy. They are powerful jumpers and will surprise you hunting a feather on a string. Like all our kittens, they have spent lots of time visiting daycares and homes of people of all ages and are well very well socialized.

November 2nd, 2019 Noir Bob-Mignon + Daenerys Targaryen Comandor Lynx
Daeny gave birth to 7 (!!!!) healthy kittens, wow! 2 females, and 5 males. Daeny is a first time mom, but she is well supported by Uma and Noir who both pitch in. It takes a village! Daeny and Noir’s kitten’s coats are non-matting, long haired with no wooly undercoat. This makes them shed far less which is one way that having a Kurilian is easier on your allergies. These kittens are so easy to handle and love cuddles. There are a few very strong candidates for therapy work in the litter.
There are classic black tabbies with a spectrum of warm to cool undertones and dark to lighter stripes, one gorgeous torbie with a half flame face, one all black with smokey grey undertones and one ginger. Both cats are from champion lines and just beginning their careers with us. Daeny has done well in shows and even had a nomination for best kitten. She’s been a great mom to her own and Uma’s litter! It was not surprising as she has always been social with other cats and gets along with everyone. She seems to really enjoy the cuddle fests.
Our kittens come with all appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, TICA pedigree papers, a carrier, toys, and food. Because there are so few Kurilian Bobtails in North America, it is very unlikely that we will sell kittens on a breeding contract, and certainly not without seeing a thorough breeding plan. This is to ensure the breed is well established here with good foundations and genetic diversity.
That said, if you are interested in raising this wonderful breed, we are happy to answer questions that can help you get started and can help coach through the selection/import process. We put a lot of research and work into preparing for this job and we would love to see this breed become more established so we’re eager to work with other responsible breeders! Of course you won’t have to ask around much to learn that breeding cats responsibly is unlikely to make a profit, if a labor of love is what you’re interested in, please ask us anything you like!
In some rare cases we may also offer intact cats to gaurdian homes. If you are interested in being a guardian for one of our breeding cats, please let us know in the contact us page.
