Ash is a black smoke, meaning that his fur has no (or extremely faint) tabby pattern, but his belly and mane will be smokey grey. He has a red tinge to the tips of the black fur. A coat that is extremely hard to capture with the camera but oh so satisfying to run your fingers through.
In fact, We think Ash has the silkiest coat of our current two litters. He is also among the kittens I would recommend as a therapy or companion pet for a child, person with anxiety, ASD, dementia or Alzheimer's. As you can see from the picture, he's a content lap cat. As long as it isn't play time!
